Remember the Hualien Residences in Taiwan designed by BIG which we featured earlier this year? Well, the first 1000 sq m show-home has been completed as part of the initial marketing to offer prospective inhabitants a preview into the lifestyle and amenities of the development….and yes! its just as awesome as you might imagine.
It brings to life the striking renderings earlier seen, in all its simple, geometric glory, while the interior is simply exquisite, featuring a bespoke furniture line by Danish Collaborative KiBiSi (KiBiSi is an ad hoc collaboration between (Ki) kilo Design , (Bi) BIG Architecture and (Si) Skibsted Ideation). The next phase of the project is expected to begin in 2016, with construction scheduled to be complete by 2018….and we’re looking forward to it.
