Completed earlier this year, Quays Lagos is fine dining restaurant, lounge and butchery designed and built by FAA Designs on the footprint of an existing residential development in Lekki phase 1, Lagos.
FAA added a terrace floor to the existing structure as well as a skylit central staircase which thoughtfully balances openness and privacy with a modern contemporary design. The first floor overhangs over the glazed perimeter of the ground floor ensuring a shaded entrance and limiting solar penetration. The 1200sqm restaurant also features a notable checkerboard facade offering both sunshading and privacy for the patrons.
