The Index Wall Unit by Green Point Concepts

The index wall unit is a cleverly crafted modular piece of furniture designed and built by New Jersey based Green Point Concepts.

The idea offers a wall unit, that includes a seat, table and shelving. These elements can be moved around to fit one’s needs. For instance, to make a larger table, you move the seat up, or turn the seat to more of bench by moving the table down. You can also make longer shelves by joining the smaller ones together.

The entire unit is covers a small foot print, standing at 1800mm high and 635mm wide, while the seat, table and shelving are about 400mm and 200mm deep, respectively.
With every sliver of space at a premium in cities across the world, products like this are key to making spaces more effective and viable, most especially small spaces, possibly even adapted to suite kids bedrooms.

The unit combines a range of wood options to create varying aesthetics. The one pictured below was made using Maple and Oak.

Like I mentioned, its a clever use of space, thats functional and would definitely be most useful in those really small spaces that seemingly have no function.
