MFS™ IV – A Floating Music Hub, located in the beautiful Mindelo bay in the island of São Vicente of Cape Verde, West Africa is a prefabricated floating hub, which consists of a multipurpose performance hall (in the MFS™ large), a professional recording studio (in MFS™ medium) and a service bar (in MFS™ small).

The three vessels will be anchored around a triangular floating public plaza to promote music, dance, art and other creative industries in Africa and the diaspora. The significance of music in Cape Verde, its rich cultural history and its natural environment inspire this social and economic development strategy.

This project will mark another milestone in NLÉ’s development of Makoko Floating System (MFS™) – for the first time it is built in the Atlantic Ocean, a new territory – Makoko Floating system will return to Africa. It is designed and engineered to even higher performance specifications and quality for marine environments.

The project is championed by ADS Cabo Verde – Africa Development Solutions, with local partner Enapor Port Authority of Cape Verde.
