UPDATE: The Smart City Workshop Attendance competition has been extended to Wednesday 2nd November 2016. The event will still take place on Friday 4th November, 10am – 4pm.
In June 20, 2016, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Smart City Lagos was signed between the City of Dubai and Lagos State Government, at the Emirate Towers in Dubai.
The Lagos Smart City Project is described as an initiative ‘aimed at providing state-of-the art information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure to deliver social amenities: security, communication and collaboration.’
But what does this mean and how will Lagos become a smart city?
