A call for applications was issued by the British Council for Senegal’s young, brilliant architects under the age of 35 to take part in a brand-new international exchange program called “Prototype City Coventry.”
Four architects have proposed models of green space design under the direction of Dr. Ibrahim Niang, our delivery partner, taking into account the following factors: – the environmental, urbanistic, socioeconomic, and cultural setting – The bioclimatic design principles that apply to tropical climates, including the use of passive materials, passive ventilation and cooling techniques, renewable energy sources, and sustainable water management.
