[dropcap size=big]T[/dropcap]he Interior Designers Association of Nigeria (IDAN) which is the professional body for Interior Designers and related industry support in Nigeria, has won the bid to host The International Federation of Interior Architects/ Designers (IFI) World Design Congress and the 28th General Assembly (GA).
With the active support of Lagos State Government as the co-host of this prestigious event, Africa and the rest of the World will converge to celebrate and explore Art and Design from a local perspective. The event is scheduled to hold at the Federal Palace hotel from November 9th – 12th 2017 .

Expected at the Congress and Festival are distinguished, knowledgeable international and regional speakers such as; Sir David Adjaye OBE, Kunlé Adeyemi, Carol Becker, Lou Yongq and Alfredo Brillembourg who will be sharing vital experiences on creative identity.
This year’s IFI General Assembly & World Design Congress will open with The African Culture & Design Festival themed: THIS IS AFRICA. The festival will celebrate 100 years of African Art and Design, focusing on Traditional African Arts, Modern and Contemporary African Art and Design.
