Virtual interior design service company, Eterior Spaces, just launched the first ever Pan-Africa Interior Design virtual Summit. According to it’s founders, Nigerian interior designers’, Osaru Alile and Lara Lape Cameron-Cole, the event was created out of the desire to give Africans a practical guide to the practice of Interior Design and the opportunity to be a part of an active thriving community of African Interior Designers. The summit, hosted by both Osaru Alile and Lara Lape will be taking place virtually from the 12th of March to the 22nd of March.   • Jordan Awori (aka theinteriordecorator), an interior designer and decorator, writer and artist based in Nairobi Kenya.

 

About the co-host | Lara Lape Cameron-Cole

Lara Lape Cameron-Cole is an entrepreneur, working in the creative industry as co-founder of CC Interiors Limited, a multiple award-winning Interior Design business, CaxtonAlile Living and Apparel Partners Limited, an apparel manufacturing company. She is also a consultant within the Apparel Manufacturing space.

She has a master’s degree from the University of Arts, London College of Fashion in Fashion Entrepreneurship, focusing on Apparel Manufacturing and a bachelor’s degree from Howard University, Washington, D.C. in International Business and Finance. Lara Lape started off her career in the Citigroup Corporate and Investment Bank, New York, working as a bond-trading analyst but made the move into the creative industry after a few years, to specialize in Interior Design and has never looked back. She has worked as an Interior Designer for over 10years, concentrating in residential and commercial spaces. Read the rest here.
