Boogertman + Partners Unveil Renderings of the Cape Town Station Redevelopment Project Blending Retail and Student Housing

The Cape Town Station redevelopment project, designed by Boogertman + Partners Architects for Eris Property Group, is a R1. 5billion ($98 million) investment in the city bowl that unlocks the full potential of this transport interchange, while creating much needed student accommodation.

Over 3000 beds will be brought to market in a purpose built student housing facility that offers a full suite of supporting amenities, such as sports courts, study rooms, a cinema and gym. All of this will be created over a 6700sqm retail space that will bring convenience shopping to passengers and residents alike. Construction has already started and students are expected to be moving into their new homes in January 2024.
