China has built a 1000 bed hospital in 10 days to fight the Corona Virus

The construction of the Huoshenshan Hospital in central China’s Wuhan has been completed and handed over to military medics who will start receiving patients today. The hospital, with a total building area of 34,000 square meters, will provide 1,000 beds while 1,400 of the aforementioned military medics have been tasked with treating patients at the hospital. The construction of another makeshift hospital, Leishenshan Hospital, is underway. With a capacity of 1,500 beds, it is scheduled to be put into use on February 5 and take patients on February 6.
