SENIOR DESIGNER

WHO WE ARE

Topeedu Designs is an Interior Design studio with over 17 years experience offering the full scope of Interior Design Services to high end private and commercial clients. Over the years, Topeedu Designs has worked on High End Private Residences, Residential developments, Commercial, Hospitality and Retail projects. 

THE ROLE

A Senior Designer is responsible for producing high quality project design deliverables from concept generation to both FF&E specification and construction documents. The Senior Designer would work directly with the Lead Designer on tasks and deliverables to ensure the project’s successful completion. 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• To understand the design project 
• To prepare, develop and produce with the team where required, drawings, models, images, material & mood boards and other documents relating to the design
• To coordinate the internal design team for the project working closely with Junior Interior Designers providing general support and managing team workflow and efficiency
• To take responsibility for the development of the design and the project with input from the Lead Designer for key project stages
• Ensures project milestones and deadlines are met with the overview of Lead Designer where appropriate
• Undertakes an ongoing review of subsequent stages with the input from the Lead Designer for key project stages
• To manage and undertake all documentation associated with the projects, as well as sourcing and procurement of the FF&E resources
• To liaise, where appropriate, with Clients, members of the external design team, Consultants and other Associated Organisations or Companies 
• To attend site meetings and prepare site minutes and or periodic coordination reports as necessary 
• To contribute, or otherwise assist, as required

SKILLS 

• 6+ years’ experience working on residential commercial and/or hospitality projects
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Office
• Experience of Interior Design and FF&E selection/procurement
• Industry recognized Diploma or Degree Qualification in Interior Design/Interior Architecture or Architecture 
• Able to confidently liaise with clients and third parties, including leading site meetings
• Excellent organisational skills 
• Able to manage and prioritize tasks and time efficiently 
• Self-motivated and able to take responsibility 
• Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks
• Good interpersonal skills and able to work independently and as part of an effective team 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
