Tempohousing Nigeria recently completed a serviced rental development featuring 10 apartments, and ancillary facilities in the heart of Lekki phase 1, Lagos.
The development which took about 3.5 months to complete, comprises 6 one bedroom, ground floor apartments and 4 two bedroom, first floor apartments. This peculiar mix aims to fill a gap in the real estate market that has been left, largely unattended. It would cater to young, single upwardly mobile professionals, or young couples, as well as corporate organisations seeking to house staff that fit a similar demographic.

The development which sits on over 900 sqm of prime real estate, was completed for between N85 000 – N100 000 per sqm. It highlights the benefits of this construction methodology in both cost and time savings. The singular challenge for the development was securing a building permit from the state government as no code for container architecture and construction currently exists.
