Kanye West set to launch “Yeezy Home” architecture and design studio

As reported by The Architect’s Newspaper, Controversial Rapper, Producer and creative, Kanye West has announced the creation of a new architecture arm called “Yeezy Home” that will seek to expand West’s creative output to include architectural and urban design. 

In a late-night tweet, US-based rapper solicited the talent of aspiring designers, calling for “architects and industrial designers who want to make the world better.” 

West first mentioned his interest in pursuing architecture and design in a 2013 interview with the BBC.

“I want to do product, I am a product person,” he said. “Not just clothing but water bottle design, architecture… I make music but I shouldn’t be limited to once place of creativity.

West has a long history of associating himself and collaborating with architects and designers on numerous projects. The rapper has also been known to design his own furniture, and was reportedly in talks with Ikea for a collaboration back in 2016, though nothing came of the discussions.
