Caauie lifestyle is launching their monthly architecture and design related event, 9H Design Talk which is set to take place on a monthly basis on the last Thurday of every month. The event will feature the “most varied talks on all things design” and it’s first edition is taking place on Thursday, the 29th of June at The Atrium, fourteen 36 mall, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria. Speaking at the event on the topic of “Craft and Architecture”, is Lagos based architect Adeyemo Shokunbi of Patrick Waheed Design Consultancy.
“Adeyemo Shokunbi is a UK trained architect now practising in Lagos as Principal of Patrick waheed Design Consultancy. His interests include eco-friendly and sustainable architecture and cities.

He is an avid Modernist, whose buildings are deeply rooted in the language of abstraction. His attention to detail, use of coarse textures externally, dark colours affirm a leaning towards craft. His works become at once poetic and emotive. He has previously run an art gallery.”
