Oeuvre of the Incomplete: A pop-up exhibition for the Society of Architecture Students Unilag

What does it mean to be incomplete? Can anything ever be truly complete? What threshold separates the incomplete from the complete? Who has the right to confer such a title?

It is common knowledge in schools of architecture that no matter the time given, students never complete all they want to do in time for studio juries. The idea of incompleteness, therefore being something every architecture student can relate to, becomes the very topic of our conversation.

Oeuvre of the Incomplete would serve as a pop-up exhibition for the Society of Architecture Student’s (SAS Unilag) Archi Timeout.

Taking place alongside Archi Timeout at the Archi Quadrangle, Department of Architecture, the exhibition seeks to bring together a group of creatives that produce some of the best non-architectural works in the department.

The exhibition will feature the five artists, each of whom will be exploring in their own unique ways, their idea of what it means to be incomplete.

The Oeuvre of the Incomplete exhibition will be curated by Ifeoluwa Oshunkoya and Olajide Ayeni and is supported by the Unilag department of architecture, the African collaborative institute of design, Open house lagos, Print my drawings and Livin Spaces.
