Inside A $ 1,000,000 Apartment in Moshe Safdie’s Habitat ’67

We recently came across some impressive images of an apartment in Moshe Safdie’s Iconic Habitat ’67 housing complex, which was recently sold for a little over $ 1 000 000.

You may remember back in April, we featured a video presentation on Habitat ’67, put together by Andrew Cole, an alumnus of the School of Architecture in the University of Waterloo. His presentation shed light on the details, design and structure that make up this 50 year old architectural landmark.

We now have a chance to see what one of the, over 350 apartments in the complex look like in today’s world. Ideal for a couple or family, the apartment which showcases contemporary and eclectic style was put on the market in 2015 by Sotheby’s International Realty with the aforementioned price tag

From the images, we can decipher the apartment has at least 2 bedrooms, two living rooms, an elegant open kitchen, a study/office, large terraces and a glassed-in solarium, as well as a flood of natural light, cross ventilation and stunning panoramic views of the river and city. Take a look.
