Another look at fluidity in contemporary furniture design but this time from the stable of Daan Mulder Interior Architecture & Furniture Design in Amsterdam, Netherlands. He’s created a line of furniture aptly referred to as Form Follows Function. The line features a sofa and tables (dining and meeting) that are supremely curvilinear and fluid. The sofa makes use of a steel shell which is then layered and sprayed while the table are made of multiple layers of laminated wood finished with oak veneer and painted in an ultra matt lacquer.
Heres a look at how the Sofa is made.
