Double Zero chair collection by David Adjaye make for elegant bar stools and armchairs

Originally launched in 2015, the Double Zero chair collection by David Adjaye, is a geometric chair collection designed for Italian furniture brand, Moroso.

The collection features a “twin chair”, comprising of a circular padded seat and back, framed by a hollow looped line of chrome-finished steel, with singular variations of a bar stool and an armchair in similar construction.

Product Description

The collection is a study of form and an exploration of the primary composition required to support the body in space. Beginning with two circular supports – ‘Double Zero’ – (the seat and the back), the chair is enclosed in a series of metal loops that suspend the two elements, so that they appear to float.

Watch this very short video of David Adjaye describes the inspiration of the design and what he tried to achieve.

Whatever the variation of the chair, they present a timeless and elegant look that, even four years after launch, will easily introduce class and simplicity to any space. They are available in multiple colors and framed in either glossy black or polished gold chrome-plated steel.
