Sabukie Osabutey is a Designer, Author, Traveler, and founder of Konjo House, a design studio based in Ghana which provides services in Interior design and landscape architecture.
As an avid traveler exploring cultures in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, Sabukie finds pleasure in the details and complexities of cultures and how they serve as a source of inspiration and influence.
In her recent trip to East Africa, particularly Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Sabukie’s findings revealed the uniqueness of the Amharic language and the importance of coffee to the people of Ethiopia and the world.
In 2019 she was honored by the Russian Library for foreign literature for her contribution to African literature.
She is also a 4-time Ted Speaker and a poet-performer.
