Daniel Emma’s Geometric furniture and lighting collection.

London Design Festival 2014 just rounded up featuring a number of designers and projects, one of which is Adelaide based Design studio, Daniel Emma ( a collaboration of design duo Daniel To and Emma Aiston). They launched their first major collection at the festival in which some of the pieces were already part of their ‘BIG’ project showcased in Australia last year. The collection includes furniture and light fittings made by combining pure geometric forms in an artistic and functional manner.

“The Mish Mash chair” The base is made with solid maple, the seat with laminated maple, the back rest with hand poured resin and the handles with powdercoated solid aluminium.

“The Pick ‘n’ Mix Bench

“The Pick ‘n’ Mix table”- The base is made of powdercoated steel and the top with polished cement.

“Cherry on the bottom light” More details here

“Loop / puck Trivet”
Desk Accessories

“Ball Ball Ball Lamp”
Storage Containers

The collection is fun, colorful, interesting and it shows how dissimilar and similar geometric shapes can function together. They are simple and contemporary at best.
